Local Shopping and Other Needs
Shopping and Medical
The most convenient shopping town is Arnay-le-Duc, five miles away. Besides being picturesque, with remnants of medieval walls and fortifications, plus 14th, 15th, and 16th century buildings, Arnay has two supermarkets, several good cafes and restaurants, a wonderful patisserie, and an array of typical French country boutiques.

Arnay-le-Duc has two good pharmacies, with pharmacists who can provide basic first aid. Arnay also has a clinic and many excellent doctors. There are first-class hospitals nearby in Dijon and Beaune.
